Join the hundreds of design professionals that have made the Parking Utilities Application a standard for generating parking lot conceptual and design drawings. The Parking Utilities Application offers a complete set of automated tools for generating parking lot conceptual and design drawings. In addition the graphics generated provide an ongoing database of parking lot information. As parking lots are created, information inherent to the Lot ID, Row ID, and Stall Type are associated with each stall. This data can then be automatically extracted to a Microsoft Excel Worksheet or a Microsoft Access Database.

One of the most powerful tools provided with the application is the Draw Lot utility. This feature automatically generates parking lots within a closed region based upon the current user parameters, stall width, stall depth, stall angle, distance between rows, etc. There are over fifty user-defined parameters that effect how the parking lot is generated. These parameters can be saved to disk files allowing them to be shared by other users promoting consistency in computer design and graphics standards. In seconds, the user can perform “What-if” scenarios creating a parking lot using standard 90-degree head in parking and then see “What-if” the lot was drawn using angled 70 degree parking. In seconds the user can see which scenario will yield the most spaces and efficient design. Adjusting various measurement parameters can yield different stall counts within the same lot and the Draw Lot utility allows you to obtain the effect of these changes in seconds.

In addition to automatic Parking Lot generation, the application provides several utilities for interactively generating parking lot drawings.

• Draw Parking Curb: This feature allows the user to draw parking curbs based upon the current user parameters.

• Draw Parking Stalls: Allows the user to draw rows of stalls parking using one of three methods. Pick two end points for the row, pick a line that represents the parking row, or pick an arc that represents the parking row.

• Draw Custom Parking Stalls: Allows users to create their own blocks representing the graphics for the parking stall. This feature is useful for ADA stalls. Once the blocks are generated they can be automatically placed within parking rows.

Additional Utilities are provided to fully complement the application, they include.

• Add Stall Text: This feature automatically places text at the center of each stall that can be any combination of the Lot ID, Stall ID, and/or Row ID.

• Lot by Region: Allows Stalls within Parking Lots to be defined by a selected region. This is useful when allocating parking stalls to different buildings/tenants within a project/parcel.

• Add Row Totals: Automatically places a user-defined block at the end of each parking row representing the stall count within each parking row in each parking lot.

• Remove Stalls: Allows parking stalls to automatically be removed by any combination of Lot ID, Row ID, and/or Region.
